Bow Stone

Why move a stone just to find it doesn’t fit?  A stone weighing 200 lbs was identified as a possible bow-piece candidate for the “Lithoskiff.”  Only trouble was, it was located 1/2 mile from the building site alongside a hiking trail. No problem. The group went to the stone and made a cardboard replica that they then used to check the stone’s shape against the shape described by the guide frame.  Perfect fit!  Jack, Lucas and Nathan were dispatched to bring the prize down from the headlands.  The stone was awarded a place of honor in the prow.
